Our Leadership Team
Board of Directors
David Hald, M.D.
President
Dr. David Hald is a general and pediatric urologist at Urology Nevada, treating the full spectrum of urologic conditions, including cancers. For Dr. Hald, cancer care is a deeply personal subject, as his interest in medicine was sparked at 11 years old when his great-grandfather passed away from lung cancer. During the experience, young Hald recognized a lack of communication between the clinicians and his family members. As a result, he developed an approach focused on patient communication, which can have a significant impact on families during stressful medical situations. Practicing in Reno for more than 25 years, Dr. Hald has held numerous leadership positions in the field and has served on various boards and commissions in the local and state medical community. He is a former President of the Nevada State Medical Association and the Washoe County Medical Society.
Remy Lamberts, M.D.
Secretary
Dr. Remy Lamberts specializes in cutting-edge ureteroscopic technology, minimally-invasive therapies for enlarged prostates and da Vinci Robotic procedures for kidney, bladder and prostate cancer. His training included a year and a half in France in one of the premier diabetes labs performing research on islet cell transplantation, as well as a six-year residency at Stanford Hospitals and Clinics, where he published six peer-reviewed articles and participated in research on health policy, MRI fusion biopsy and kidney stone disease. His passion for community health was sparked by his parents, both primary care physicians in Northern Nevada, who instilled in him the importance of kindness, compassion and integrity in medicine.
Ross Anderson, M.D.
Treasurer
Dr. Ross Anderson treats a variety of urologic conditions and cancers, with special interest and training in minimally-invasive surgery, genitourinary reconstruction and prosthetics. In addition to his clinical practice and commitment to the Urology Nevada Cancer Foundation, he has been actively involved with International Volunteers in Urology (IVUmed) since 2017. With the philosophy of “Teach one, reach many,” IVUmed provides learning opportunities for urologists in underserved regions to improve global urologic care. Dr. Anderson travels with IVUmed, treating patients and educating urologists around the world about complex urologic diseases that impact a patient’s quality of life.
